Abstract The hydrothermal process was used to prepare Mn 3 O 4 /x%GO nanocomposites (NC’s) having different ratios of the nanoparticles (NP’s) on surface graphene oxide (GO) sheet. TiO2-graphene nanocomposites. UV-assisted photocatalytic reduction of graphene oxide.
Graphene oxide suspended in ethanol undergoes reduction as it accepts electrons from UV-irradiated TiO(2) suspensions. The reduction is accompanied by changes in the absorption of the graphene oxide, as the color of the suspension shifts from brown to black. The direct interaction between TiO(2) particles and graphene sheets hinders the collapse of exfoliated sheets of graphene. Solid films cas...
متن کاملAssessment of antioxidant and antibacterial activities of Zinc Oxide nanoparticles, Graphene and Graphene decorated by Zinc Oxide nanoparticles
Zinc Oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) and graphene carbon material, due to lower drug resistance, can replace antibiotics, and by decorating of graphene with Zn-NPs, their properties can be greatly improved. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant and antibacterial effects of ZnO-NPs biosynthesized using Crocus Sativus petal extract, graphene and graphene decorated by ZnO-NPs bio...
متن کاملDye removal from water by zinc ferrite-graphene oxide nanocomposite
In this work, zinc ferrite magnetic and zinc ferrite-graphene oxide nanocomposite were synthesized through a facile hydrothermal method and dye removal capability as an adsorbent were studied. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy FT-IR, X-ray diffraction XRD and scanning electron microscopy SEM were used to characterize the synthesized nanocomposite. The UV-Vis results showed that the additi...

This study have been developed BiFeO3/reduced graphene oxide (BFO/RGO) nanocomposites by introduction of RGO in the structure of BFO nanoparticles in a short term ultrasonic treatment. The X-ray diffraction pattern and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analysis reveal that the BFO/RGO composites were successfully synthesized. UV-visible absorption show that the introduction of RGO can eff...
متن کاملBarium ferrite decorated reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite for effective electromagnetic interference shielding.
There is an increased interest in the development of high performance microwave shielding materials against electromagnetic pollution in recent years. Barium ferrite decorated reduced graphene oxide (BaFe12O19@RGO) nanocomposite was synthesized by a high energy ball milling technique and its electromagnetic properties were investigated in the frequency range of 12.4-18 GHz (Ku band). The result...
